**File transfers:** Gajim's internal processing of file uploads and downloads has been simplified, which makes handling files a lot smoother. Furthermore, `.onion` domains are now supported as well. **Read markers:** You already know read markers for your chats, which look like: 'Contact has read up to this point'. Now, Gajim supports read markers for group chats as well! For group chats, we went for a different approach though: Each participant's read state is indicated by the participant's profile picture next to the message which has been read. Since this is working pretty good, Gajim now uses this approach for regular chats as well.
